# Irresistible Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe

This recipe makes about 3 dozen cookies.

### Peanut Butter Cookies Ingredients:

- 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup butter flavored vegetable shortening
- 1 1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 3 tablespoon milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda

### Peanut Butter Cookies Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375\*F
2. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
3. Combine flour, salt, and baking soda in a separate bowl and set aside.
4. Combine peanut butter, light brown sugar, milk, and vanilla and beat at medium speed in an electric mixer until well blended.
5. Add egg and beat mixture just until blended.
6. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture at low speed and mix just until blended.
7. Drop heaping teaspoons 2 inches apart onto an ungreased baking sheet.
8. Flatten slightly in crisscross pattern with tines of a fork. 
9. Bake one sheet at a time at 375\*F for 7 to 8 minutes, or until set and just beginning to brown. 
10. Let cool for 2 minutes on baking sheet. 
11. Remove cookies to a cooling rack to cool completely.
12. Enjoy!
