Heather has been part of the Berry Springs family for a few months, and the Smoky Mountains have been home for much longer. Growing up in Gatlinburg, she spent her days roaming these mountains, and today she is blessed to still call them home.
When she’s not at the lodge, you’ll likely find Heather with music playing, at a festival, sitting in a cool mountain stream on a hot summer day, or out on Douglas Lake boating with her husband. She has a soft spot for animals of all kinds, but her favorite days are the ones when her grandchildren come to visit from Georgia.
Heather needs little introduction when you come to Berry Springs. She’s our dig in and get it done gal, never one to shy away from a job, big or small. Like Brenda, Heather does a little or a lot of everything around the lodge. If something needs doing, chances are Heather is already on it.
