For three and a half years, Mason has been an essential part of the Berry Springs team, and if you spend any time around the lodge, you'll quickly see why.
Mason is our go-to guy for keeping the property looking its best. Whether he's out mowing, painting, fixing something that needs attention, or adding one of the little touches that make Berry Springs special, there's a good chance Mason had a hand in it.
In fact, you can spot his handiwork before you even walk through the door. Those sleepy little animals lounging on the Berry Springs sign and perched on the lamp posts lining the road as you drive up are Mason's creations. It’s a skill he learned from the very man who built the lodge (Patrick!), carrying a little piece of Berry Springs’ history forward with every one he makes. We like to say he puts the “Bear” in Berry Springs.
Mason also has a few talents you might not expect. If you're lucky, you may catch him whipping up one of our specialty coffees, a hidden talent our guests are always happy to discover.
When he's not taking care of things around the lodge, Mason would much rather be outside, spending time in nature or fishing.
Mason is one of those people who quietly becomes part of the fabric of a place. We're lucky to have him here, and we think Berry Springs wouldn't quite be Berry Springs without him. If you haven't met him yet, just look for the man with the friendly smile.
