Ingredients: For the Cake:

- 1 1/2 teaspoons apple pie spice
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 sticks (12 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
For Decorating:
- White candy coating
- Mini chocolate chips or black candy decorations for eyes
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal. Lightly coat with cooking spray.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, apple pie spice, baking powder, and salt. In a separate large bowl, whisk the melted butter, sugar, sour cream, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pour the batter into your prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean, about 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool completely.
- Once cooled, cut the cake into even rectangles to create your mummy shapes. Melt the white candy coating according to package instructions. Using a fork or piping bag, drizzle the coating back and forth over each cake piece to create a "wrapped" mummy effect. Place two mini chocolate chips or black candy decorations on each for eyes.
