Bear Tracks Granola Bars Ingredients
- 1 cup Rolled Oats
- 1/3 cup Raw Slivered Almonds
- 1/4 cup Ground Flax Seed
- 2/3 cup Shredded Coconut
- 1/4 1sp Sea Salt
- 1/3 cup Craisins, roughly chopped
- 2 Tbsp Almond Butter
- 2 Tbsp Coconut Oil
- 1/4 cup Maple Syrup or Honey
Bear Tracks Granola Bars Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Arrange oats and almonds on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes or untit lightly toasted and aromatic.
- Reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees.
- In a mixing bowi, combine flax seed, shredded coconut, and sea satt. Mix well Add toasted oats and almonds. as well as the chopped Craisins. Gently stir to combine.
- In a small saucepan, add almond butter, coconut oil, and maple syrup or honey. Bring to a low boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and immediately stir into the dry mixture. Make sure everything is evenly coated.
- Add the mixture to a parchment-lined 8x8 square baking dish, then top with another sheet of parchment and press down firmly and evenly - spreading the mixture out across the entire pan.
- Bake at 325 for 20-25 minutes until edges are golden.
- Let cool before cutting into bars. Store wrapped or in an air-tight container for up to 5 days.
