Blueberry Ooey Gooey Butter Cake Ingredients

Cake:
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt
Cheesecake:
  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • Lemon zest
 

Blueberry Ooey Gooey Butter Cake Instructions 

  1. Heat oven to 325 degrees F
  2. Grease + line pan with parchment
  3. For cake:
    1. Cream butter, sugar, and cream cheese.
    2. Add egg, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
    3. Fold in flour until incorporated.
    4. Set aside.
  4. For cheesecake:
    1. Beat sugar and cream cheese.
    2. Add egg white and vanilla.
    3. Beat until well-incorporated.
  5. Pour cheesecake batter into pan.
  6. Sprinkle berries and lemon zest across surface.
  7. Scoop cake batter on top and carefully spread edge to edge.
  8. Bake for 1hr, 25-30 minutes until golden + set.
