Meet the Team: Amanda

Amanda has been with us for almost a month as our new Innkeeper, and she has already become a familiar and welcoming face around Berry Springs Lodge.

Originally from Gloucester, Massachusetts, Amanda grew up around the ocean, spending time lobstering with her uncles and grandfather. After her children were grown, she made her way to Florida, where she built a career managing large-scale communities, including the World Tennis Club in Naples. Along the way, she also owned a bakery, combining her love of food, creativity, and bringing people together.

After years of building a career and raising her daughters, Amanda felt drawn to something different. She recently made the move to Tennessee, trading Florida’s sunshine for mountain views and a life that feels a little more soulful, personal, and connected to the things she loves. At Berry Springs Lodge, she is excited to bring her years of experience, creativity, hospitality, and genuine love of people to a place with so much heart.

Amanda is especially passionate about honoring the legacy of Berry Springs Lodge’s original owners and preserving the warmth, character, and personal hospitality that have always made the lodge special.

Her greatest gifts are her three adult daughters. In her spare time, you might find her shooting hoops down at the barn, settling onto the deck with a good book, wandering outside with a camera, or researching recipes as she helps dream up new additions to our fall breakfast menu.
